Sustainabilty
is a term which brings to mind a range of definitions,
some more understandable to the layman than others.
In simple terms it refers to actions, activities and projects which
"stand the test of time."
When we consider whether certain lifestyles or projects are sustainable,
be they government or private initiatives
we should look at them not only from their environmental impact
but also from the perspective of their economic, social and cultural effects
on our lives and our surroundings.
From time to time information on
Sustainability,
will be posted on the
HCN website.
